The last few months I have been thinking about why people do the things they do. Why do people hang onto the past instead of letting it go? Why do people push those closest to them away? Why can't people move beyond the negative/bad things that happen to them? I figure if we can't let go of the past, if we push people away and dwell on the negative/negative things that happen to us, how can we do what God wants us to do. What happened to the belief "That all things work together for good to those that love the Lord." Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:18 18 - "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. "
I know that I don't sound very compassionate. I realize we all need time to deal with things that happen to us past or present. Sometimes, we need someone to talk to about our troubles. What I am more concerned about are people who dwell on their troubles instead of dealing with them.
I feel that God has put this on my heart for a reason. Maybe I am suppose to help others with moving on and doing great things for God; or maybe I am suppose to move on and do great things for God.
I am not sure if anything I have said makes sense to you. One thing I do know: God has great things in store for those who allow Him to work in their lives.

It made sense. Thank you for posting that. It was something I needed to see/read/hear. I appreciate you listening to God and letting him use you in this way. You and Bill are such a blessing.
